A BROTHER'S SECRETI've tried something slightly different with this story. I hope it works.It's a kind of domestic story set in a world very like ours but in which slavery is a normal part of life. It focusses on the relationship of two orphaned brothers.
Love between brothers has always fascinated me. I had an older brother once, now deceased, but we were never close. Perhaps that made me long for a more intimate sibling relationship. A big brother who would look out for me (as my brother never did). Anyway, in this story the two brothers both learn the meaning of love and sacrifice.
